African Women Were Not Allowed Into Israel Unless They Accept Birth Control Injection; New Report Reveals
Ethiopian Jewish immigrants of Israel were subjected to mandatory birth-control injections, without their knowledge or consent.

After it was revealed that the birth rate among Ethiopian living in Israel has declined by at least 20 per cent, advocacy groups said this decline is the result of a birth control regimen forced upon African immigrant women.

Suspicions were first raised by a journalist, Gal Gabbay, who interviewed more than 30 women from Ethiopia in an attempt to discover why birth rates in their community had fallen dramatically, Haaretz perorted.

Dr Duke went into the open and blatant anti-black racism that exists in Israel on a scale unimaginable anywhere else. He brought up the issue of the Israeli government has forcibly injected Ethiopian Jews living in Israel with birth control because because they don’t want them to reproduce.

Ethiopia women who immigrated to Israel eight years ago say they were told they would not be allowed into the country unless they agreed to be injected with the long-acting birth control drug Depo Provera. Preventing the reproduction of a people in whole or in part is one of the international legal definitions of genocide.

“They [medical staff] told us they are inoculations. We took it every three months. We said we didn’t want to.”, an Ethiopian woman who was interviewed said.

While at first, the Israelis government denied the practice, the country’s Health Ministry’s director-general then ordered gynecologists to stop administering the drugs. By decree of the minister, gynecologists have been ordered: “not to renew prescriptions for Depo-Provera for women of Ethiopian origin if for any reason there is concern that they might not understand the ramifications of the treatment.”

“Findings from investigations into the use of Depo Provera are extremely worrisome, raising concerns of harmful health policies with racist implications in violation of medical ethics. The Ministry of Health’s director-general was right to act quickly and put forth new guidelines.” said Sharona Eliahu Chai, a lawyer for the Association of Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI).

About 130,000 Ethiopians, most of them Jewish, have moved to Israel under the Law of Return since the 1980s. Last year, the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu warned that illegal immigrants from Africa “threaten our existence as a Jewish and democratic state”.

Recently, Netanyahu announced that the government is expelling 40,000 African asylum seekers from places like South Sudan and Eritrea. They are paying the government of Rwanda $5000 for each asylum seeker, plus paying the individuals $3500 each, and if they resist, they will be arrested.
