Porn Star’s Lawyer Accuses Donald Trump Of Bullying And Hiding Truth From Public
“How can President Donald Trump seek $20 million in damages against my client based on an agreement that he and Mr. Cohen claim Mr. Trump never was a party to and knew nothing about?”

President Donald Trump’s attorney has threatened to sue the porn star for at least $20 million for violating a nondisclosure agreement talking about her affair with the president just days before the 2016 presidential election.

Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen, who admitted payment of $130,000 to Stormy Daniels, and Beverly Hills lawyer Charles Harder, filed court documents to remove Daniels’ lawsuit against Trump from Los Angeles County to federal court in California.

“Mr Trump intends to pursue his rights to the fullest extent permitted by law,” Harder wrote.

Trump’s attorneys allege that Daniels as many as 20 times violated the confidentiality provisions of a settlement agreement in which Cohen paid the adult film actress $130,000 through a private LLC.

“EC is aware of at least twenty (20) violations by Clifford of the confidentiality provisions of the Settlement Agreement.” Trump’s attorneys and Cohen’s company stated in the court filing.

Earlier this month, Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, sued Trump, arguing the nondisclosure contract is void because it was signed only by Cohen, and not the president himself.

Later, Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti responded on Twitter: “The filing today is yet another bullying tactic from the president and Mr Cohen. They are now attempting to remove this case to federal [court] in order to increase their chances that the matter will be decided in private arbitration, thus hiding the truth from the public.”

Avenatti said: “How can President Donald Trump seek $20 million in damages against my client based on an agreement that he and Mr. Cohen claim Mr. Trump never was a party to and knew nothing about?”

He also tweeted: “The fact that a sitting president is pursuing over $20M in bogus ‘damages’ against a private citizen, who is only trying to tell the public what really happened, is remarkable. Likely unprecedented in our history. We are NOT going away and we will NOT be intimidated.”
